Stephen SoaresStephen Soares has been named the outstanding vocational student for the Electricity program. He is the son of Stephen and Sharon Soares of Fall River, Massachusetts and a graduate of Morton Middle School.
He is currently ranked twenty third in his graduating class, has earned a GPA of 3.7, and is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. Stephen has been an active athlete, playing basketball his freshman and sophomore year as well as baseball in his freshman through junior year. Stephen has won numerous Trade Fair awards while at Diman. Stephen has also been involved in community service as a jury member of the Fall River Youth Court.
Stephen is currently employed through Diman’s Cooperative Education Program, working as an apprentice electrician with Kevin R. Curt Electrical. Stephen will be attending Bristol Community College in the fall studying in the engineering science transfer program.
