Class Of 2012 - Senior Class Information
1 — ALL Senior Dues payments totaling $100 - due by MAY 31st
2 — End of the 3rd Trimester is on May 29, 2012
3 — Senior Sign-out dates - - ALL SENIORS
5 — Senior Prom will be on Friday, June 1st at the Marriott Hotel in Newport, RI.
6 — The Post-Prom will begin at 12 midnight on June 1st until 5:00am on June 2nd 2012
7 — Class Day/Graduation Rehearsal will be on Tuesday, June 5th at 11:00am in the Auditorium. All Seniors will receive their Graduation material, YEARBOOK, and have a small reception in the gymnasium immediately after rehearsal
8 — Senior Awards Night will be on Wednesday, June 6th at 6:00 pm. Awards night will be held in the Auditorium – no limit to guests to attend. This is an “Invitation Only” event.
9 — Graduation will be on Thursday, June 7th at 6:00 pm on John Harrington Field -- no limit on the guests. Graduates are to assemble in the Auto Technology Shop by 5:15 pm
POST-PROM: The Post-Prom is sponsored by the Diman Parent Advisory Council (PAC) for ALL Grade 12 seniors and ONE Guest whether or not the SENIOR went to the Prom or not. The Post-prom begins at 12 midnight and lasts until 5am June 1st into June 2nd , 2012 A contact form will be needed from each DIMAN student attending the Post-Prom to call a parent/guardian to indicate the student has arrived or is requesting to leave BEFORE 5am. This is NOT a permission form, it is a CONTACT form.
REHEARSAL – JUNE 5, 2012 - Seniors are to assemble in the auditorium by 10:30am on Tuesday, June 5th . Procedures will be rehearsed for Awards Night and Graduation. All Seniors will receive their Cap & Gown, their Graduation Tickets (souvenirs), Medical Records and YEARBOOK. It should conclude at about 12 noon. Pizza and Soda will be served after rehearsal!
GRADUATION – JUNE 7, 2012 - Seniors assemble in Auto Technology by 5:15pm for “line-up”. Attire for the night is DRESS CLOTHING with your CAP & COWN. Tassel is on the LEFT side and then moved to the RIGHT side upon receipt of you Diploma.
Eligibility Requirements for Graduation: Any Diman student who fails a class or classes that results in SUMMER SCHOOL remediation is NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the Graduation Ceremony on June 9th. The Senior IS eligible to attend the PROM, POST-PROM and CLASS NIGHT
