Morgan CostaMorgan Costa has been named the outstanding vocational student in the Office Technology program. She is the daughter of Tony and Diane Costa of Westport, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Holy Trinity School.
She is currently ranked eleventh in her senior class with a GPA of 3.9. Morgan has been a high-honors student throughout her four years at Diman and has participated in numerous extra-curricular activities. She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society, a member of the softball team, Tech Prep, Announcement Team, and the Bristol Community College Talent Search Program. Morgan has also been an active member of SkillsUSA, placing first in community service at the Fall State Leadership Conference, winning a bronze medal at districts for Technical Computer Applications, placing third in the State Pin Design contest, and winning a gold medal at the state competition for Chapter Business Procedures. At the SkillsUSA National Competition, Morgan obtained the certification to become a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians. She currently serves as Diman’s SkillsUSA Chapter President and has earned two leadership awards during her term as an officer. Morgan was nominated and received a Good Citizen Award by the Daughters of the American Revolution organization. She is currently employed at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School as an Office Assistant through the Cooperative Education Program. She has been accepted into the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she will be studying Nursing in the fall.
